Tobar an Dualchais/Kist o Riches: Artists in residence (part-time)

Tobar an Dualchais/Kist o Riches has vacancies on a new programme, sponsored by Creative Scotland, for artists who wish to extend their knowledge of the collections on Tobar an Dualchais/Kist o Riches and to act as ambassadors for its website within the arts and education. There will also be opportunities to help extend and develop the website.
Tobar an Dualchais/Kist o Riches is based at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig but artists taking up these residencies may be based anywhere in Scotland. One person will be appointed for Scots and one forGaelic.
This is a great opportunity for people with in-depth knowledge of at least one of the traditional arts represented on the Tobar an Dualchais/Kist o Riches website (songs, instrumental music or stories). You should also have a genuine enthusiasm for the site and a desire to see its use extended. Experience of working with other artists and/or within education is required as is an ability to work on your own initiative. Hours are flexible but will involve a total commitment of around 70 days between March and December 2012.
