Our week-long sessions  are arranged to fit step-by-step into an overall eight-stage programme which is based on SMO’s  highly successful distance learning course – An Cùrsa Inntrigidh. Using a planned syllabus of language structures you can progress from little or no Gaelic through to an advanced stage of learning. A typical and important feature at each stage of our programme is that, in the process of illustrating new language structures, new vocabulary will arise, spontaneously and naturally, in class work. This incidental and chance learning, by which you will add depth to your repertoire of words, phrases and expressions, is a natural outcome of teaching strategies aimed at drawing out speech and encouraging conversation through structured communication exercises.

At each stage, the main focus will be on investigating and practising new language points, strengthened by the re-introduction of previously learnt structures to familiarise and reinforce them.
