Christine Primrose - Without Seeking, Without Asking

On this CD Christine Primrose, who is from Lewis, performs a variety of songs, some well-known (such as "A Mhairead Òg" and "Òganaich an Òr-Fhuilt Bhuidhe"), others less well-known. Christine's pure, clear voice has become well-known over the years and she has won many prizes, amongst others at the National Mod and the Pan Celtic Festival. She has released and worked on several CDs and in 2009 was named the "MG Alba Gaelic Singer of the Year". Christine has been working at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig for many years, where she is in charge of teaching Gaelic Song on the Music course and is very willing to teach songs to anybody who has an interest in Gaelic singing.
