NURSERY MANAGER – FÀS MÒR
Salary:£12,067.20-£13,994 a year for 14 hours per week
Hours: Permanent/Part-time – Flexible working hours available; working pattern to be agreed.
Fàs Mòr is preparing to reopen. We are looking for a capable, supportive manager to lead quality, people and service development, working with a full-time senior playworker who will coordinate daily practice.
You will help a small community charity provide dependable childcare and a welcoming introduction to Gaelic. Our board will support finance, governance and recruitment, while you retain overall responsibility for the management and quality of the service.
Your focus
Lead safeguarding and quality assurance; supervise and develop the team; maintain policies and records; liaise with families and regulators; and report clearly to the board. Work with the senior practitioner on staffing, bookings and improvement priorities.
What you bring
Experience of high-quality childcare and leading or supervising others; sound safeguarding judgement; clear communication; and the qualifications and registration appropriate to managing a
day-care-of-children service. An agreed qualification-development route may be considered where accepted by the relevant bodies.
Gaelic is desirable, not essential. A positive commitment to Gaelic-medium care and willingness to develop your skills are essential. Learning support will be available.

MAINTENANCE OFFICER
Salary: £26,890 – £31,671
Hours: 35 hours per week
Are you practical, organised and proud of a job well done?
We’re looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our Estates team and help maintain our buildings, grounds and facilities to a high standard. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our campus remains safe, welcoming and well presented for students, staff and visitors.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving routine and reactive maintenance, minor repairs, grounds upkeep, health and safety support, room set-ups and working with contractors and colleagues across the organisation.
About You
You will have:
- Experience in building, grounds or facilities maintenance.
- Practical maintenance and repair skills.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- A full driving licence.
