Dougie MacAulay

Bio

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Dougie spent 10 years with two of the Big Six firms as head of department specialising in Corporate Recovery and Rescue. He left Private Practice to spend a number of years in Industry at Managing Director and Chief Executive levels before starting his own business nearly 20 years ago, concentrating mainly on the Property, Engineering and Childcare sectors.

In the last few years he has successfully divested himself of a number of businesses but still retains operations employing some 90 staff.

Dougie, who is married in Glasgow, originally comes from North Uist and is a native Gaelic speaker.
