Bio
Roddy John MacLeod was born and raised on the Isle of Skye. He went to Port nan Long Primary School, and to Portree High School. After leaving school, he studied law at Edinburgh University and today is a sheriff and Depute on the Scottish Land Court.
Over and above being involved in law, Roddy John is also involved in Gaelic broadcasting and spent two years working full-time with the BBC. He has a particular interest in the management of the College and what better way to show and develop it as students and the purpose of Gaelic in the years to come.
