Summer Courses 2013

In 2013, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig will be marking its 40th year as a College; as such there will be a wealth of special events taking place and new courses available to the Short Course participant. The Short Courses offered by the College attract people of all ages and nationalities every year.  They are a fantastic way to meet new people, learn the Gaelic language and enjoy a good music session or two on a Gaelic campus which is at the heart of a warm and friendly community with beautiful surroundings.  The College’s short courses began teaching Gaelic and traditional music in 1973 and have since expanded greatly with over 750 people visiting the College over the year in order to take part in a short course.  This year, we welcome old acquaintances and new students for their first time to the college.  Among the evening activities we have for you will be cèilidhs, workshops and a chance to meet and speak with local Gaelic speakers who may impart some of their stories and knowledge of the area!

Assistance for those who are unfamiliar with the course booking system can be found here.
