Individual and group activities will be used to explore the use of Gaelic language in teaching acting skills. As well as focusing on practical performance techniques, participants will be encouraged to engage creatively with teaching methodologies.
The course also aims to provide a forum to discuss the role of the Gaelic language in Scottish theatre and shape how the tradition develops in the future.
Although taught bilingually, this course is most suitable for teachers and theatre practitioners with a reasonable grasp of the Gaelic language and will provide a supportive and challenging environment in which all participants can explore and learn.
