This Gaelic-medium Degree aims to educate students to a high level in traditional Gaelic musical heritage and its history, performance styles and cultural relevance, both within the Gaelic-speaking areas of Scotland and abroad.

5 SQA passes of which 3 must be at Higher Grade (preferably including Higher Gaelic) and at least 2 at Standard Grade

| Course Structure |
Students will be expected to have a basic knowledge of Gaelic when joining the course and depending on ability, will either go into the Gaelic immersion course, An Cùrsa Comais or Gaelic and Communications. Students will also have an audition to determine musical ability before being awarded a place on the course.
At level 2 students will develope language and musical skills further as well as exploring other subjects
After successful completion of level 3 students will graduate with a BA in Gaelic and Traditional Music and its expected that a BA (Hons) will be available in the future. The honours year will include an exchange programme with the National University of Ireland, Limerick |
