Arts and Culture

The promotion of the Gaelic language, culture and heritage is central to the College's mission.  Arts and culture feature strongly through the course curriculum and students and staff have access to excellent facilities including a recording studio, rehearsal spaces and state of the art media resources.

The College's Short Course programme offers a wide selection of courses in Gaelic language, music and culture and the increasingly popular BA in Gaelic & Traditional Music has attracted world class musicians and singers to teach on the course.

The College runs an Artist in Residency programme with support from Creative Scotland and hosts a Musician, Writer, Drama Artist ,and Visual Artist in Residence.   The College also provides a venue for the community arts group, Seall and the local film club, Club Film.
