Where are you from?
I am from the Isle of Lewis.


Why did you come to Sabhal Mòr Ostaig?
I came to Sabhal Mòr Ostaig to further my Gaelic, and to gain experience of using the language again after years of not speaking it every day.


What was it like to be living at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and on the Isle of Skye?
Sabhal Mòr Ostaig is different in that it offers a Gaelic environment where people can be immersed in the language.


What course did you study?
I was on the TV course, the Diploma in Gaelic Media.


Why did you choose to study on this course?
The TV Course is an exceptional course, and it is known for the opportunities it gives to students who have studied on it.  With many experts from the industry teaching on the course, you get a taste of all the different media-related aspects.


What is the best thing about the course you studied on or about Sabhal Mòr Ostaig?
The TV course gives students the opportunity to do practical work in the Gaelic world and develop and practice those skills.


What hobbies did you have while you were studying at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig?
I enjoyed filming and editing short films, playing music and going to the local pub with my friends..


What are you doing now?
I am working  as the edit assistant at Bees Nees in Glasgow.
