Subject: Irish Gaelic

Hi

My apologies for using English, but I do not want to offend the
sensibilities of any seasoned Gaelic speakers with the type of nonsense
that I'm libel to throw together if I try to communicate in the preferred
tongue. Several students and a German professor at my college are
organizing a two-term independant study course in Irish Gaelic next term.
We are using _Teach Yourself Irish_ by Diarmuid Ó Sé and Joseph Sheils
(book and cassete) and/or perhaps the book and cassettes by Mícheál Ó
Siadhail. I was wondering if there is *any* material available either on
the list or somewhere on the net that might help us. Lessons perhaps.
None of us have any real experience with the language, so any help at all
is greatly appreciated.

Go raibh maith agat,
gary
