Second Call for Abstracts

This is the second call for abstracts for the forthcoming conference of Rannsachadh na Gàidhlig - Rannsachadh na Gàidhlig 2006, to be held between 18-21 July 2006 at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Skye.

Academic papers pertaining to Gaelic are welcomed, from a range of academic disciplines. Papers can be delivered at the conference in either Gaelic or English.

It is expected that 80 papers will be presented at the conference. Papers should be 20 minutes in length, while some time will be given to the discussion of each paper. Until now, approximately 40 abstracts of papers have been accepted. These abstracts can be viewed on the Abstracts page.

The deadline for abstracts has been extended to 21st April 2006. It is kindly requested that abstracts are sent to: sm00rng@uhi.ac.uk

Papers will be presented in themed sessions.

It is recommended that delegates book to attend the conference, and that they book accommodation and meals, as required, as soon as possible, using the online booking service.
