Gaelic Level 2 – Online
This course is ideal for those who have recently started learning Gaelic, or who have previously done some Gaelic, especially those who have started learning with Duolingo. In this level, you will be introduced to:
- new prepositions, such as ‘anns’ and ‘às’;
- prepositional pronouns, such as ‘aig’ and ‘ann’;
- and comparative structures.
As part of the course, participants will gain an understanding of simple grammar, opportunities to practise conversation skills and learn new language techniques and relevant vocabulary.

SCQF 4 – SQA Standard Grade General Gaelic (Learners)
The course consists of eight classes over eight weeks: 19:00 to 20:30 every Tuesday evening, all delivered via Zoom.
This course will be taught by Carol Shields. Carol has a BA (Hons) Gaelic Language and Culture (first class) from Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and is a popular tutor on our short courses.
Likes: hillwalking, reading, watching cricket (really), and teaching Gaelic.
