This lecture explores Richard Demarco’s and Edinburgh Arts’ connection with Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and traditional Scottish and Highland culture more generally and will focus on 10 significant collaborators and places, including Sir Iain Noble, the Romanian artist Paul Neagu, Hamish Henderson, Hugh MacDiarmid, Sorley MacLean, George Mackay Brown, Joseph Beuys, and Margaret Tait.
