
Short Courses Accommodation 2023
En-suite accommodation is available at both Àrainn Chaluim Chille and Àrainn Ostaig. Towels and bed linen, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, are provided in each room; a fridge, sink, microwave, crockery and cutlery are available either in the rooms or in nearby kitchens. However, with the exception of the Penthouse flat, there are no stoves. Prices below are inclusive of all meals from dinner on the day before your course begins to lunch on the last day of your course. Please note that our canteen will not normally be open for dinner on Saturday evenings, or for lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Washing machines and tumble dryers are available after 4pm.
All prices below are now on a FULL-BOARD* basis with the exception of Family Learning Week, weekends as detailed above and the Penthouse suite, which has cooking facilities and is let on a self-catering basis. Family Learning Week will still be offered on a bed and breakfast basis.
Full-board is defined as:
Breakfast – cooked or continental
Lunch – main course, or soup and a sandwich
Dinner – main course and dessert
Drinks and snacks are not included.
Single Room
Adult Rate (aged 16 & over):
£360 for 5 nights; or £72 per night, £54 Saturday (no lunch or dinner available)
Child (0–15)/Student Rate:
£285 for 5 nights; or £57 per night, £42 Saturday (no lunch or dinner available)
Twin Room
Adult Rate:
£645 for 5 nights; or £129 per night, £93 Saturday (no lunch or dinner available)
Student Rate:
£500 for 5 nights; or £100 per night, £71 Saturday (no lunch or dinner available)
Adult & Child (from 0 – 15)/Student Rate:
£560 for 5 nights; or £112 per night, £79 Saturday (no lunch or dinner available)
Penthouse Suite (sleeps 4)
2 bedrooms (1 Double and 1 Twin), living room, shower room, and kitchen, at £242 per night, on a self-catering basis. Meals may be purchased in our canteen if required.
Accessible Rooms
Fully accessible/disabled rooms are available on request and are subject to availability.
Off-campus accommodation
The College has a list of nearby hotel, bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation for anyone who would prefer to stay off-campus, or for when College accommodation is full. The list can be viewed here or you could search the Visit Scotland and Visit Sleat websites for alternative accommodation.
Camping at the College
Whilst course participants are free to camp within the College grounds, please note that we are not an official campsite and our facilities are limited. For the latest guidance for campers and caravan users, please click here.. Camping course participants are welcome to purchase meals in our canteen.
Camping is not recommended during the Easter courses as the weather can be unpredictable. In the summer season, we recommend students bring midge repellent!
