The Internet Archive Text Archive has a fantastic collection of over 200,000 open-source e-books on many subjects, including Gaelic, Scottish history, folklore and place-names. 

UHI e-resources

Sabhal Mòr Ostaig students and staff are entitled to use online resources, such as databases, e-journals and e-books to which the UHI has subscribed. You can access the full range of UHI Electronic Resources here.

E-books can be read individually or cross searched at UHI's E-Book Collections.

If you have any difficulty accessing UHI e-resources from home, try logging in via  MyUHI.

Most of the online resources are licensed and therefore password protected. Anyone passing details of usernames/passwords to any other person will be in breach of the College's Acceptable Use Policy. 

All users must follow copyright rules while using the electronic resources. If you require further assistance please speak to a member of the Library staff.
