Dè Do Bheachd? Podcast Competition 2026
What is it?
This is a podcast competition run by Teacher Education at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the National Centre for Gaelic Language and Culture, that is open to all S1–S3 pupils who are learning Gaelic. We are looking for podcasts up to 4 minutes long in which pupils offer their opinions on a topic which is important to them. There is no set subject for the competition, and it is open to students to choose any subject in which they have an interest.
What’s up for grabs?
There are prizes for first, second and third place which are a Dè Do Bheachd? t-shirt and gift card. The winning podcasts will also be published on the Sabhal Mòr Ostaig website too.
How do I take part?
Pupils need to record their own podcasts, and pupils should then send them to us, together with a completed entry form Dè Do Bheachd? 2026, at before Friday, 22 May 2026.
