Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and Camuscross & Duisdale Initiative are pleased to be working together to offer a series of complete beginner Gaelic classes based at An Crùbh, starting again this November.
These classes (A1 Part 2) are aimed at post-beginners who have a bit of Gaelic already and will follow topics 6-9 of the SpeakGaelic A1 course. They would be suitable for those who have completed SpeakGaelic A1 topics 1-5, or those who have covered up to a similar level using other learning pathways, such as Duolingo, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig Short Courses, etc. Information on what is covered by A1 topics 1-5 and 6-9 can be found on the SpeakGaelic website.
These classes are available at half price for parents and grandparents with children in Gaelic Medium Education and are subsidised by Bòrd na Gàidhlig. Course fees will go directly to Camuscross & Duisdale Initiative.
SpeakGaelic has accompanying television programmes made by BBC Alba, and extensive supporting materials, such as podcasts and the SpeakGaelic website for self-directed learning. SpeakGaelic currently has materials available at levels A1, A2, B1 & B2, offering a structured pathway for learning the language.
