Director of Seall, Duncan MacInnes, inducted into the Hall of Fame for his services to traditional music.

Congratulations to Duncan MacInnes who is to be inducted into the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame for his dedication to promoting traditional music. Duncan is the creative director of Seall, an arts organisation based at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, and has worked tirelessly for over 25 years to put on concerts and festivals, bringing some of the finest international acts to a Skye audience whilst also offering a platform for local acts to perform and establish their careers. Norman Gillies, former director of Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, said “The partnership that evolved between Seall and the college has brought great benefit, both social and economic, to the Sleat community.  Working in conjunction with the short courses programme at Sabhal Mòr, Duncan and his team put together what became Fèis an Eilein, an eclectic mix of events which attracted over three thousand visitors over a packed two-week programme.”
