Seanchas na Fèinne (The Fianna Cycle) has been at the heart of Gaelic folklore since the time of Ossian, and much research has been done on the literature, stories, and history of the Fianna over the centuries.

This collection has even influenced the language itself and its vocabulary. It is this influence that we will focus on here, as we consider what the proverbs and idioms that have been passed down to us say.
