CLUB IRISE

Sabhal Mòr Ostaig’s Club Irise was set up for anyone with an interest in Gaelic Medium Education or immersion education at all levels – from pre-school, primary, secondary or university – and who seek opportunities to engage in further professional learning.

At each session, a lecturer from Sabhal Mòr Ostaig or other educational expert delivers a short presentation (approximately 20 minutes) on papers from research literature related to immersion education. That research is then discussed in the context of Gaelic Medium Education. Below are the recordings from previous years.
