Pàdruig Morrison is an accordion tutor at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, but has also taught modules in music theory and composition.

Pàdruig is from Grimsay in Uist, and after a number of years away, he now lives back in Grimsay. Pàdruig studied music and Scottish Ethnology at the University of Edinburgh before continuing with a masters programme at Maynooth University in Ireland, where he also went on to complete a PhD in composition, looking at the confluence of Scottish traditional music and contemporary classical composition.

Pàdruig performs regularly at festivals with his band Beinn Lee, but also leads solo projects too. He was one of the 2020 finalists of the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year. Pàdruig also supports the work of Ceòlas Uibhist through his role as one of their board members.
