SABHAL MÒR OSTAIG OPENING ITS DOORS FOR ACTION-PACKED GALA DAY

Sabhal Mòr Ostaig is opening its doors for an action-packed Gala Day on Saturday 26 April. Fèill na Gàidhlig will take place from 12pm – 4pm and promises to be a day full of fun activities for locals, families, and Skye’s community.
As well as a variety of activities throughout the day, we will have food, baking, a raffle, face-painting, Gaelic taster sessions, treasure hunts and games to raise money for local community groups and charities. In the evening, a traditional Gaelic Ceilidh will be led by Còisir Ghàidhlig an t-Sratha in An Talla Mòr, bringing people together through traditional song and music.
You do not need to be a Gaelic speaker to get involved, and we encourage anyone looking for a fun day out – and anyone who wants to learn a little more about Sabhal Mòr Ostaig – to come along!
Entry and all activities will be free, with an opportunity to donate to local community groups through raffles and lucky dips. Food and drink will be available to purchase on the day.
Sabhal Mòr Ostaig is encouraging local businesses to get involved, so if you would like to participate as part of Fèill na Gàidhlig (e.g. have a stall, run an event) or if you have raffle prizes you would like to donate, please do get in touch:
