Gaelic Level 1 – Online

This course is ideal for complete beginners of Gaelic – i.e. those who have NO previous learning such as Duolingo* or local classes.  In this level you will be introduced to standard numbers in different formatted structures, addressing people, finding out where they are from, to tell and ask about things that people are doing, such as living, working or other activities, and expressing possession.  As part of the course, participants will gain an understanding of simple grammar, opportunities to practice conversation skills and learn new language techniques.

The course consists of nine classes over three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with three online classes each day at 09.30 – 10.45, 11.15 – 12.30 and 13.30 – 15.00, all delivered via Zoom.  Where possible classes will be limited to 8 students instead of the usual 12.

*If you have previous learning experience please consider one of the higher levels.
