The course consists of nine classes over three days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) with three online classes each day at 09.30 – 10.45, 11.15 – 12.30 and 13.30 – 15.00, all delivered via Zoom. Where possible classes will be limited to 8 students instead of the usual 12.
This course is ideal for advanced learners who have a strong understanding of the Gaelic Language and are able to communicate well demonstrating good speaking and writing skills.
The aims of this level are to:
- develop the student’s ability to use the future tense of irregular verbs and their relative forms;
- develop the student’s ability to use personal pronouns in the context of inverted infinitive structures;
- develop the student’s ability to use the ‘nam/nad’ structure in an abstract context and in relation to professions;
- introduce new vocabulary to illustrate structures and reinforce structures already introduced.
As part of the course, participants will gain an understanding of grammar, have opportunities to practice conversation skills, learn new language techniques and relevant vocabulary.
