Sabhal Mòr Ostaig are very excited to welcome back Ukulele with Finlay Allison to our 2020 short courses program!

The ukulele has taken the world by storm and it doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon.  This five- day course is aimed at players from Improving Beginner to Intermediate levels. It will stimulate and inspire you to play and perform with more confidence and power,  giving you the techniques and skills to move out of a playing rut and inspiring you to take on new challenges.  Covering Scottish Folk Songs, songs by the Beatles, Chuck Berry, Jazz Pop and Rock standards, the course will include: strumming techniques; fingerpicking; tablature; altered chords; country, folk, rock and jazz techniques; song arrangement and much more. For players who have started their ukulele journey and wish to raise and develop their ukulele skills to higher levels of enjoyment and understanding. This course will be a great learning experience- but also fun!

This was a very successful course that sold out last year so to ensure your place please book early!

There’s space for up to 12 people on the course.
