Postgraduate

Sabhal Mòr Ostaig offers a postgraduate course in Material Culture and Gàidhealtachd History,  which explores the social and economic character of the Highlands and Islands through a study of the area's material culture, landscape and environment.

The course is led by Professor Hugh Cheape, a leading Gaelic historian and expert bagpiper, along with colleagues Dr Dòmhnall Uilleam Stiùbhart and Gabhan Parsons.  It is offered on a part-time basis over 3 years and allows students to study by distance learning with some modules available online.

    Duration: 1 year for Postgraduate Certificate, 2 years for Postgraduate Diploma and 3 years for Masters of Science Degree
